This project was born from the need to assess reading fluency in a fun and accessible way within an already existing gamified learning platform. The goal was to create an experience that would combine pedagogy with digital engagement, while respecting the pace and diversity of each child’s learning process.
The Problem
Traditional reading fluency assessments are often disconnected from student reality, unengaging and sometimes stressful for early readers. The challenge was clear:
How can we turn a formal assessment into a meaningful, interactive, and motivating journey?

Product Goals
• Assess reading fluency in a non-intrusive and engaging way
• Motivate students through a compelling narrative and gamification
• Generate actionable insights for educators without disrupting the student experience
• Create a visually rich and intuitive journey, even for students with low digital literacy
My Role
I led the project and was actively involved in:
• Conducting collaborative workshops with the educational team to gather requirements
• Defining user flows and interaction logic
• Creating wireframes and clickable prototypes in Figma
• Designing the visual interface and UI components
• Coordinating a multidisciplinary team (design, content and development)




User Interface Design
The visual identity aligns with the game’s universe while prioritizing readability, clarity, and student motivation.
